Ohlone College is seeking a pool of qualified applicants for temporary
part-time teaching assignments. These positions are filled on an
as-needed basis and are on-going recruitments. Assignments may include
day, evening and weekend courses and may be in-person, online or
As staffing needs arise, our Division Deans will review the part-time
faculty pools and contact applicants for interviews. There are times
that part-time faculty are needed to fill last minute vacancies;
therefore, departments are better able to communicate their teaching
needs at the time of interviews.
Applicants must meet the minimum academic requirements listed in order
to be considered for the pool of qualified candidates. Applicants that
meet the minimum requirements are not automatically accepted to teach
at Ohlone. As this application is for a pool of applicants, it may

Teach and assess students.
Teaching experience at the community college level desired but not
Masters Degree in Ecology, Environmental Studies, or Interdisciplinary

Starting Salary Range
Salary Range Hourly Lecture: $72.76-$108.77; Hourly Lab: $62.47-$93.39
